Well done and congratulations to Mr Muchlis Idham who successfully defended his PhD thesis in a viva this afternoon. He has conducted a research entitled "the effect of soil heterogeneity on the migration of DNAPL using Geotechnical Centrifuge Physical Modeling". The external examiner during the viva was Prof Dr Nurly Gofar from UTM and Assoc. Prof Dr Zulfahmi acted as an internal. So, job well done and good luck!.
A photo of Muchlis and myself (with a new hair style of course) captured after the viva in front of the Faculty's new building. (The new building is in front of us actually!!).
