A discussion on groundwater abstraction issues was conducted today at NAHRIM in Seri Kembangan, Selangor. The discussion was chaired by Dr Saim Suratman. The issue highlighted in the discussion was about a groundwater abstraction project at Batang Padang in Perak, that will be developed by Simedarby (under Water Management Unit) for fresh water supply to Klang Valley.
